Install APK on Your Android Phone

Step 1: Go to Settings » Additional Information » Privacy.
Step 2: Navigate to the “Unknown sources” option, tap to turn it on. You can get a warning from the system, just click OK to continue.

First, you need to install the APK file on your android phone. In order to do that, simply follow the steps below:

  • Place the APK file in your phone’s SDcard or Internal memory (preferably external SDcard).
  • Browse your phone Memory/External Memory and tap on the APK file.
  • Click "install"
  • Wait for the APK to install.
  • Do not run the application yet.
  • After a successful installation, you need to place the Data / OBB file in the right place.

Where to put the OBB or Data file?

  • First of all, Unzip/Extract the downloaded OBB or Data file in your PC or laptop.
  • Copy the "Data" folder and place it into the given path: External SD Card > Android > Data > “paste the folder here” In case of OBB files, copy the OBB folder and place it in the given path here: External SD Card > Android > OBB > “paste the folder here”
  • If you cannot find the OBB or Data folder, you can create a new folder manually.
  • Make sure that the files are successfully copied in your SDcard.
  • Disconnect your phone from the PC.
  • Run the APK file now.

Common Errors and How to Fix Them.

  • a/ If you get this error, you may have another version of the app (already on the phone) that you are trying to install. Please uninstall it first!
b/ It is also possible that the Play Protect feature is turned on, please turn off Play Protect!
c/ This error may also occur because your phone does not support this APK file.
d/ If you have done all the above and still cannot fix the problem, try restarting the device!

  • 2 - Error “Download failed because you may not have purchased this app”
This error usually occurs with apps that contain OBB, it seems that you forgot to download OBB. What if even if you copied the OBB to the correct position and still got an error? Try installing the original version from Google Play first, then uninstall it. And try to install the APK / OBB again!
  • You need to make sure that your device has allowed the installation of apps from unknown sources. By default, all Android devices prevent the installation of apps from sources outside the Play Store. Therefore, you need to turn off this security option.
